Description

ZeeTheCook provides perfectly blended vocational training that is designed to help students launch their new cooking career in the culinary field. Students at ZeeTheCook can “learn by doing” while being exposed to the practical side of professional food preparation.

At the end of the program, students will graduate with a certification through the American Culinary Federation: CFC® – Certified Fundamentals Cook® ServSafe™ through the National Restaurant Association, and a Certificate of Culinary Achievement from ZeeTheCook, along with the knowledge and preparation to take on a new job in the industry.

Graduates who pass the Culinary Arts Cook NOCTI-ACF written and performance assessments with the minimum cut score of 70% are eligible to receive the graduation certificate. The 70% may be achieved on the written test only or as an average of the written and performance test scores

Grades are also based on: attendance, presentation, taste, texture, temperature, color, aroma, knife skills, creativity and preparation time, among other things. A practical skills evaluation is given on a regular basis. The final exam will consist of both practical and written tests.
